The output is always PNG, as it is the most widely supported format that preserves transparency (alpha channel).

Currently, the background removal tool processes one image at a time due to the computational requirements of the AI model. For batch needs, process images sequentially.

What if the AI misses part of the subject?

While the AI is highly accurate, some complex images may need minor refinements. You can use our Image Editor tool for manual touch-ups after the initial removal.

Does it work with transparent or semi-transparent objects?

The AI can handle semi-transparent elements like glass or gauze to some degree, preserving partial transparency in the output. Results vary depending on the complexity of the transparency.
